Technical specifications Model "SR2 RTA 2001"
CHASSIS
The chassis is made of a "25CD4" steel square section pipe framework
and "Avional 2017" panels fixed by araldite and rivets
The car "SR2
RTA 2001" has passed successfully all the crash tests required by
the "FIA".
BODYWORK
The Bodywork is in pre-preg fiberglass. The three section flat bottom
is in carbon to get an optimum stiffness. The rear wing and nose box,
has passed successfully all the crash tests required by the "FIA",
also are made in Carbon.
FRONT AND REAR
SUSPENSION
The front and rear uprights are monolithic in lightweight alloy (Ergal
7075) and manufactured by EDM, the ball bearings with are created with
a big diameter to ensure excellent smoothness. The Wheel shafts are manufactured
of 34NiCrMo16 steel, the tripoids are located in the rear. Both front
and rear suspensions have 15CDV6 steel brackets with drop profile. The
suspension system presents pushrods with pinion and rocker. The scheduled
dampers are Koni, on request, it is possible to fit Hollins and Dynamic
Suspension.
GEARBOX
The gearbox is the Hewland 6 speed plus reverse gear NMT 200, with magnesium
maincase and blow-by lubrication pump, oil cooling by oil/water heat exchanger.
ENGINE INSTALLATION
There are two scheduled installations: one with the "Alfa Romeo V6
24 Valves" the other with the "Nissan 3000 V624 Valves".
Other installations may be applied.
The engine is connected
to the gearbox by a magnesium casting bell, inside of which, the oil tank
and the mounting for the starter motor are located. The bell is fixed
to the chassis by a framework which provides an excellent stiffness.
BRAKE SYSTEM
AP Racing disks and calipers are rule sizes. Floating iron disks diameter:
330mm and 32mm Thick, mounted on Ergal 7075 bells, aluminum 4 piston calipers.
WHEELS
Wheelbase: 2525mm
Wheel sizes to rule:
Front: 18" diameter x 10" wide made by OZ
Rear: 18" diameter x 11" wide made by OZ
TIRES
The sizes of the tires have some changes depending on the kind chosen,
but they are not so different from the following: front 255/635 R18, rear
270/690 R18.
INSTRUMENT
A fitment made of carbon is scheduled to house the dashboard and the various
useful switches.
 ELECTRICAL
SYSTEM
Military Specifications wiring, emergency switch to cut power off by FIA
regulations, two front lights and two indicators located in the nose section,
two brake lights, two rear lights, two indicators, one rain light ( FIA
Homologated), all located in the rear bodywork. 12 volt high amp hour
battery, plug for floating battery.

A 30% deposit is required when ordering, 30% during the manufacturing,
settlement before collecting the works. VAT not included in the prices.
